LIVING IN YESHUA PROMISES
Sukkot is also known as the Feast of Tabernacles. Sukkot begins on the fifteenth of Tishrei and lasts for seven days. During Sukkot, we dwell in booths (sukkah) for seven days to remind ourselves of the temporary dwelling places in the wilderness. On Sukkot, you worship the Lord with the Four Species (Lulav and Etrog.) While holding the species a blessing is said and waved in six directions (N, E, S, W, Up & Down) The first and eighth day (Shemini Atzeret) are Holy Convocations in which no work is permitted.
