Succot - Oct 6th 3:30 pm to Oct 14th
940 E Nelson Rd, Moses Lake. WA
Purpose
Sukkot is also known as the Feast of Tabernacles. Sukkot begins on the fifteenth of Tishri and lasts for seven days. During Sukkot, we dwell in booths (sukkah) for seven days to remind ourselves of the temporary dwelling places in the wilderness. On Sukkot, you worship the Lord with the Four Species (Lulav and Etrog). While holding the species, a blessing is said and waved. The first and eighth day (Shemini Atzeret) are Holy Convocations in which no work is permitted. Lev 23:39-42
